Belarus, Poland discuss bilateral cooperation

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Poland Viktor Gaisenok discussed the issues of the Belarusian-Polish cooperation with the Eastern Club officials on April 8, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Embassy of Belarus in Poland.


The organisation unites Polish businessmen that cooperate with the countries of Eastern Europe. Viktor Gaisenok met with Chairman of the Eastern Club, well-known Polish businessman Feliks Kulikowski and Secretary General of the Organisation, former Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of Poland to the USSR and Poland to Russia Stanislaw Ciosek.

The meeting highlighted important issues of bilateral trade and economic contacts and prospects of their intensification. The two sides discussed the issue related to the preparations for the first Belarus-Poland Economic Summit. The forum will take place in Warsaw on June 24-26 within the programme of the National Exhibition of the Republic of Belarus in Poland.

The sides emphasized the significance of holding these forums for further development of economic relations and strengthening business relations between the two countries.
