A large delegation of the Syrian Arab Republic visited Horizont during its recent visit to our country to discuss the implementation of joint industrial projects.
Syrian specialists got familiar with the work of the Belarusian enterprise. The guests saw Horizont production capacities, its major products: LCD TVs, network-connected devices and home appliances. “The Syrian delegation praised the quality of the Horizont products, in particular cutting-edge LCD television sets,” Andrei Orlov said.
The sides discussed the possibility to export Horizont products to the Syrian market. “The foreign guests showed immense interest in the cooperation with our company, though no specific cooperation agreements were discussed yet, this is why it is too early to talk about the partnership terms between Horizont and Syrian companies,” he added.
Open joint-stock company Horizont was created in December 2002 through the conversion of production corporation Horizont. The company now includes four plants, which produce television electronics. At present, Horizont is the CIS largest producer of television electronics and household electronics. The company offers over 50 models of TV sets, radio equipment, satellite and cable television solutions. Horizont has 226 proprietary departments across Belarus as well as a proprietary shop Horizont.
